No. It’s an automatic watch powered by a mainspring that winds itself as you move your wrist. If you take it off for a couple of days it will stop, so wind it by hand where the model allows, or give it a gentle shake, then set the time and date.
Most models in the current range are rated to 100 metres, which covers swimming, but ratings vary between designs. Check the rating listed with each watch, keep the crown pushed fully in near water and have the seals checked periodically if you swim with it.
An automatic will usually gain or lose some seconds each day, which is normal for a mechanical movement and within the manufacturer's tolerance. That small variation is part of its character, and regular wear keeps it running most consistently.
