How is the value of my gold calculated?+
Your gold is valued on its weight in grams and its purity in carats. We use an acid test to confirm purity (9ct, 14ct, 18ct or 22ct), then weigh it on our precision scales. That figure is applied to the current live gold price to give you your valuation. The whole process takes a few minutes and is done in front of you.
