Seiko Prospex Silfra European Exclusive Limited Edition

Introducing a brand new European exclusive timepiece into the Prospex diving collection, inspired by the clearest water in the world.

Diving is at the heart of Prospex, and this watch design is influenced by one of the world's most iconic diving destinations. It takes its inspiration from the underwater sea view of Silfra in Iceland, between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, which continue to drift further apart each year. Silfra remains the only place in the world where divers can explore the fissure between two continents -the water is filtered through lava over the course of 100 years, making it the clearest water in the world.

This diver is built in the classic 'Sumo' design –as named by fans, with strong looks being its defining feature. In addition to the stainless-steel bracelet, this timepiece also comes with a blue silicone accordion strap which expands and contracts under water.

Powered by a 6R35 automatic movement with an impressive 70-hour power reserve and -15/+25 seconds per day accuracy, it has a 20 bar water resistance.

Its sapphire crystal glass has an anti-reflective coating, whilst the hands and indexes feature Lumibrite for improved night visibility or in dark diving situations. This limited-edition piece comes in a special box.
